Snehagiri Society was launched and registered as one of the Charitable Societies in the year 1979. The Malayalam word “Snehagiri”, means the mountain peak of love. Since its inception, Snehagiri Society has successfully implemented many socio-economic rural development projects for the benefit of the poor people in society. Snehagiri Mithralayam Special School and Snehagiri Mithralayam Home for the Aged are the twin institutions run under the aegis of Snehagiri Society. “Mithralayam” in Malayalam means “House of Friends”.
Snehagiri Society provided help for the Cancer patients through our project SCCP (Sneha Cancer Care Project). With the help of the State Government and the participation of the people, Snehagiri Society has to its credit undertaken all these humanitarian activities.
