There are so many children in our society who are mentally and physically challenged. Most of the people have a stereotyped impression that they are unable to do things by themselves. It is true that they need our special attention and one of the family members is compelled to quit their job to take care of special children.
Mithralayam Special School is a project from Snehagiri Society from 24th October 1995. The aim of the School is to give activities of Daily Living Training for the Children. Here we take care of them and nurture them. We have 12 staffs including 2 ayahs and 1 psychologist for them. After bringing the children here, the parents can go to work and provide a better life for the children. The sole intention of the society is the well being of our children.
